You guys are great- thank you all so much for all of the pledges and shares. Word is really getting around and we've barely just begun! Today I have something very exciting to unveil- can't wait to share it with you! So there are a few new items I'd like to address fro everyone:

Non-feathered/ JP style raptors- while I agree they are cool, I honestly do not have any plans to include them in the Beasts of the Mesozoic line. This line is intended to celebrate the awesomeness of natural history and depict how these animals might have actually looked. I assure you, if you aren't already convinced that real dinosaurs are the best dinosaurs, you will by the time this campaign is finished. :)

Alternate non-credit card payment method – This is a tricky one. I'm looking into it now, but if you have any suggestions for this, please post them in the comments section. I really don't want to leave anyone out!

International shipping- sorry guys that you have to pay more and that you have customs fees on top of that in some cases- I do sympathize. Unfortunately the shipping charges on my end have increased recently and these numbers here are actually a generous average when you see some of the actual costs. To give an idea, shipping a 1lb package from New Jersey USA to Canada or Mexico is actually about the same as shipping it to Australia (and it is more than $25). So even though it seems like a lot, it could actually be more in many cases. In this instance I suggest the larger raptor packs to save on shipping and split among your friends.

And several people have asked if the raptors can stand without the posing rod. Well honestly it wasn't designed to do so, but that's something I can't know for sure until I have a physical toy sample to test with. This does however bring up an opportunity to show you all how cool this posing rod actually is. I'm hoping you'll see that it doesn’t detract but will actually make the figure a lot more fun! Check out this short video that demonstrates the movement. (music: 'Stromfront' by Kevin MacLeod)

We're doing great, but let's not take anything for granted. If you've backed this project, please be sure to share the link with people you know and let others know because we all want those stretch goals and I'll be posting the first one this weekend!
